House of the Silver Snake

There is a house at Hogwarts,
They call it Slytherin.
It's been the ruin of many a pure witch
Once she was sorted in.

With one foot in the Dark Arts,
The other in the flame,
The head of house is Severus Snape
With bravery and shame.

When the Sorting Hat is on your head,
